PC - STRAND PRODUCTION LINES

These lines are dedicated to the production and treatment of low relaxation steel rope for prestressed concrete and structural reinforcement. They guarantee a technological process with very high performance and excellent quality, result of a great technical knowledge and long experience in this field.

Main Features:

• Wire surface type: smooth, galvanized, PVC coated;
• Rope surface type: Normal or compacted with die(optional);
• Packaging: Precision wound coils with strap (every 45°), internal diameter 800 mm, max external diameter 1700 mm, width 750 mm, net weight 5000 kg max.

Stranding and relaxation line:

• Type of strander: Skip 1+6;
• Post forming: Double wire straightener on 2 planes at 90°;
• Tensioning system: by two groups of double capstans;

First Group pulling Capstans:

• Type: Double multi
• gorge with horizontal axis;
• Capstan diameter: 1500 - 2500 mm;
• Max continuous pull: 25000 kg;
• Pull control: Load cell on diam. 1200 mm pulley;
• Heating furnace type: Induction with power between 640 and 800 kW;
• Wire cooling: Two stages, first by immersion and second by spray,with temperature control exit.

Second Group pulling Capstans:

• Synchronization system: Guiding rolls group with linear vertical scroll bar, with constant pull max 500 kg;
• Type: Double multi
• gorge with horizontal axis;
• Capstan diameter: 1500 - 2500 mm;
• Max continuous pull: 25000 kg;
• Strand packaging: Double spool winding-unwinding system movable on rails;
• Max capacity 28000 kg.

Respooling and packaging:

• Working speed: Up to 400 m/min;
• Synchronization system: Guiding rolls group with linear vertical scroll bar, with constant pull max 750 kg;
• Coil preparation: Precision winding spooler (lay on lay) with automatic flange opening and coil extraction/unloading;
• Coil taping and packaging: Automatic taping machine for spiral coating with paper band or plastic film.
